My thoughts and prayers today are with the families and all of the victims of that horrible day. Let us never forget what a noble sacrifice they made in the name of freedom, and our beloved country.

This year it has hit home more than ever for us. PFC Zachary Taylor Myers was killed in Iraq on Tuesday Sept. 8. He was to come home on leave on the 9th. His vehicle was hit by a rocket launched grenade. He and 3 others were killed. I babysat Zach the first 5 years of his life. He was an energetic and ornery yound man and we will forever miss him.
