Watch Teambito On Ultimate Cake Off Monday!

Tomorrow night! 8 PM central time.... TLC

Watch us crazy a$$ girls get our cake on!

If they edit it right, it should be a very entertaining episode. I sure wish/hope they show more of the whole team. This competition is not about one person (the leader), it is truly a team effort. Our cake was a team effort from the design phase thru the execution. It was our cake, not my cake. My gals are the three best ladies anyone could have on their team. I am so very grateful to them for all the hard work, and moral support (yes I was very needy) throughout the whole process. No matter what the outcome, or how they edit it to make us look, I am so very proud and honored to have stood beside these 3 amazing women:

WENDY BAIAMONTE
ADELE LIND NICHOLS
BECKY WILLARD

and
REBECCA SUTTERBY

because she was a "silent" team member thru the whole thing as well. She gave design and structure advice when we asked, and was incredibly encouraging in every way. She was even on phone stand by for 911 crisis calls we had while in LA! And she saved our butts on a couple of things too!

I love all four of you to pieces!

If I come across as a crazy, mean lunatic, nut ball, I blame the editing. If I come across as delightful, witty, brilliant and skilled, then it was all real. Depending upon which way it goes, I might be entering the federal witness protection program Tuesday.

So everybody tune in tomorrow night, have fun, and don't take it too seriously!

Lova ya!~
Sharon

As long as federal witness protection sends you to a farm and feedlot in Colorado, it's all good.

And to tell all of Sharon's fans and friends out there- I don't care how any of us are shown. Sharon is a fantastic leader, we were a kick butt team and had a wonderful time together! Teambito Rocks!!! Love you Sharon!

Sharon, you have been the most entertaining contestant to date. I think your personality really showed through in a good way. People should see how frustrating cake decorating can be. I also think you made the cleanest cake I've seen on that show. I thought your team dynamic was amazing and everyone did a great job. Congrats on an amazing job. I hope they bring you back!

Hi Sharon:

I just saW uco AND I have to say... You were the winner!! Your cake looked AMAZING! and u did it in 1 hour less than the others... I am not saying the others were bad cause that's not nice but yours was defenitly better... it's like one of the judges said... you played your strengths and put together a well proportioned cake that looks like you and your team put in 40 hours of work on... awesome job... incredible color combination, great details... I loved it...
I wouldn't want a cake with four jack-in-the-box popping out of it during the reception... but like you said... it's a matter of taste... by far... your work was the most professional looking..
Kuddos to you and your team... the bride's last request.. how your girl hand painted that pattern!! WOW! awesome...
I used to be a fan before... and now more than ever!

We couldn't watch last night, so we taped it and watched first thing this morning (I say "we" because my husband took one look at what I was watching and said, "Don't we know her?" -- LOL -- "Yes, honey, from all my DVDs.")

We SO thought you guys were going to win!!! What an amazing job you all did, especially having to sit out not just once, but TWICE!

BTW, we thought you were VERY entertaining! "OMG, did she actually cuss? Play it back! Play it back! Boy, she sure has spunk!"

Seriously, your cake was absolutely gorgeous and we really thought your team was the best! (I thought my husband was going to cry when you didn't win.)

Team Zambito was the best! You all rock!

Your cake was THE ULTIMATE CAKE!

I love the show (never missed an episode), but every week I think the contestants get off track from the assignment by trying to be too over the top with their designs! Some weeks they don't even look like cakes!

Your assignment was a wedding cake and you actually designed a WEDDING CAKE - amen! IT WAS EXQUISITE and PERFECT! I couldn't believe the result. Who wants a black wedding cake?

My fav part was the buttercream rose competition. That one lady goes, "Sharon's roses are perfect." and that's all. There was nothing more to say! Loved it!

I watched my TiVo'd episode this morning. I'm still in shock that you didn't win!! My husband walked in during the middle and asked who won. I told him it wasn't over yet, but there was NO WAY you couldn't win. I was blown away when they announced the winner. The winner didn't even have the grey or purple colors of the wedding theme on the cake and the stenciling was not neat. Your team really showed your perfection and skill; def. something to be proud of!! Your cake was GORGEOUS!!

cake was pretty, and very nicely done, but the winning cake seemed to capture the NYC theme. Have to ask, it seemed like one of your team (Becky?) was never shown. How come? And why wasn't Rebecca actually on your team? And do you really swear that much????

What a filthy mouth for such a family show. I will never watch when you are on this show again. Not just mild words but ones my kids could tell what you said even though they bleeped you out. went back and counted what was shown 49 bleeps must be some kind of record for family tv.

Your cake was great - I too am a fan of yours! You had the colors right and the surprise element was the best. I hope that they will invite you back and that the next time your cake will be more extreme, more ultimate for that is what those judges seem to want. I also wish they would tell more about the team members. Who are these lucky girls who worked hard with you? I thought it really showed up who had the best time management skills - you!

LOL, I am smiling at the last two comments. I enjoyed the show and your team immensely. Bleap. bleap! Seriously, I have all your dvd's and thanks for all you do to help all of us beginners actually have fun and make great looking cakes! It's all about enjoying what you are doing and you do have fun!!

Thanks all! And annon:

Read my new blog post about the "cussing". I do cuss in real life, but what you saw on TV was misleading. Take it with a grain of salt.

Have no idea why they did not show Becky more. I hate that they do not show the whole team enough.

Rebecaa Sutterby had family obligations that stopped her from coming.

Anything else?

Sharon,
You and your gals are amazing!! I am still buying all your DVD's, so far you have taught me so much, then the classes I was taking at Wilton. Sharon you are so clear in all your instructions, gosh, I feel like you are my friend!! Your cake should have won, all your fans believe that you did win!! Can't wait to get the rest of your DVD's and all the tools. Thanks a bunch!! Faye

Anonymous at 4:53... you're right, the episode was edited and didn't show our team mate, Becky Willard hardly at all. :( Becky is a wonderful lady and a truly amazing cake designer. You got a nice shot of her hands, in gloves, dusting the purple roses, but other than that, Becky wasn't shown much. One possible reason why is because she is a MACHINE in that kitchen, she was darting around and jumping in to help with every single task, anywhere she was needed. Perhaps that is why the camera missed her because she never stood still! :D
Other than that, who knows.... it's TV, it's REALITY TV. We have no idea why the editors/producers do what they do... nor do we have any control.
WHICH BRINGS ME TO MY OTHER POINT- ANONYMOUS 4:57
If you are oh SOOOO concerned with watching a "family show" you wouldn't have this network on while your kids are up anyway. Nor, had you ever tuned into the show with some of the previous contestants, would you have tuned in again to this particular show. Further, if you honestly think that things which appear to happen on a TV show, much less a reality TV show, are true to life, are not very "creatively" edited, are not changed to suit the wants and desires of the networks without any regard for the contestants and ONLY for the sake of ratings and drama, well, you've been hiding under a rock for way too long.
Perhaps your criticism would be more appropriately directed at a network who would make something SEEM "filthy" when in FACT, it was not... at least not according to the network precedence, nor the FCC.

I Loved your cake and honestly thought that you should have won. I was actually stunned when it didn't! You are "The Queen of Cakery!" As I stated on FB...your next dvd should be showing us how you did everything on that cake! Just go ahead and put my name first on the list for the next dvd cause I've learned more from you than from anybody!

Hi Sharon,

I just watched the show two seconds ago. I couldn't watched last week so I asked my husband to record it.

I truly believe your cake was the best, it was very well executed, it incorporated all the colours the bride was asking for, it was delicate. You and your team showed that even with an hour less to complete a wedding cake you can make the most outstanding cake.

I haven't watched so many Ultimate Cake off but I didn't like the idea of show about stopping the execution of a cake for periods of half an hour. In this regards, I felt so bad when that cake decorator sent your team again for half an hour penalty..that showed how cruel someone can get in order to get their prize not even considering the fact your team already was 30 min behind.

I'm sure I will see you on another Cake Competition as the winner.

Your biggest fan in Canada!
Rossana

Sharon...your cake was gorgeous and really captured that vintage look- I was shocked they didn't pick your cake. You came across as fun, feisty and a real person!
Last night my daughter watched the show, she is 9 and I didn't have any issues over the bleeping. We live in the REAL world and know we are watching REALITY TV- some people are just envious and have to find something negative to say. My daughter was also crushed you didn't win!
Sharon, you have been a true inspiration to me, not only in caking, but in other aspects of life. You are an amazing person and have tons of fans- those are lots of good vibes your way.

You should have won! Your cake was so much more elegant! Your team is awesome. I so wish I lived closer so that I could take lessons from you. Your cakes are perfection. You and your team made the show entertaining - even with the bleeps!
